Ascanio Birding Tours

Welcome to Ascanio Birding Tours!

The leading birdwatching company  for Venezuela, Suriname and Guyana.

We have  been operating and leading birding tours in Venezuela, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Guyana since 1986. We arrange tailored birding trips to Rancho Grande, the plains (Llanos), the Andes, the mountains of Paria, Lake Maracaibo basin, Perija mountains, Brownsberg reserve, Iwokrama, the Orinoco Delta and one of the premier endemic bird areas of the continent: the tepuis.

Our commitment with research and bird conservation has allowed us to finance projects with many Venezuelan NGOs, including the Venezuelan Audubon, Aves de Venezuela and the Phelps Ornithological Museum.
